A Day in the Life at
Montana Corporate

The Montana Corporate office

My name is Jennifer McCluskey, and I am the CEO of Montana Corporate, dba Business Tech, LLC. Most of our clients never set foot in this office, so I'd like to give you a look at what a typical day looks like here.

Montana Corporate is primarily a business services company that was started by my parents, John and Linda, over 40 years ago. Originally working out of their basement, Montana Corporate now serves over 5,000 clients annually from a beautiful, sunny office — over 4,000 square feet in size — currently staffed by 11 full-time employees.

The Front Door

As you walk in the front door, you are greeted by our friendly receptionist, Hannah. She explains the steps needed to register your new RV, boat, airplane, car, or motorcycle.

Venturing further into the office, you would meet Brandee, who is enthusiastic and outgoing. She'll tell you that with a valid ID and $625.00, you can sign up for our LLC services through our website and have your Montana LLC formed within 24 hours — along with access to your customer portal.

The Main Floor

To Brandee's right, Ricky explains how to renew a vehicle with ease through our customer portal. He also walks you through how we file annual reports for all of our LLCs every year as part of our annual service, which costs $225 each January to keep your company active and in good standing with the state of Montana.

Behind Ricky and Brandee, Lindsay — a veteran employee — is in her office, speaking on the phone with aircraft registration clients to ensure they meet the annual deadline of March 30. Lindsay is known for her deep industry knowledge and serves as a mentor to other employees, answering questions and providing support whenever it's needed. She also specializes in complex registration processes, such as Break/Bonds and foreign imports, and manages our SEO and Google advertising.

Upstairs

Heading upstairs, you would find Knoah in one office and Brad in the other, their windows facing each other across the hall. Knoah is our CFO — he handles past-due accounts, payroll, and website maintenance. Brad manages the office, working with both clients and employees to ensure we remain in compliance across a wide variety of topics.

Back Downstairs

Frances is auditing title work and training employees on the auditing process. She was also instrumental in updating our client portal to improve operational efficiency. Marilyn, to her right, packages mail and verifies addresses with laser-like precision. Jacob, to her left, processes mail labels and invoices for shipping — and is just an all-around great guy to have around.

As you head back upstairs, you run into Marsha, who serves as the liaison between Montana Corporate and the Lewis and Clark County Motor Vehicle Division. Her main role is to be present at the county office, where she processes renewals, registrations, replacement plates, and other services for our clients. Marsha thanks you for joining the office tour and shares that she loves her job and is grateful to be part of such a fantastic organization.

Back to the Sunshine

You step outside into the brisk air and feel a snowflake land on your face. It is definitely warmer at home — so you head back to your sunny vacation spot and leave our dedicated team to brave the Montana winter, maintaining the physical office presence required to serve as your local registered agent.

When you arrive home, there is a FedEx package waiting for you: a beautiful set of personalized license plates for your new vehicle. You smile, realizing that filling out a ten-minute form online has saved you thousands of dollars in vehicle registration costs.

You refer your friends, they sign up for LLCs, save a great deal of money — and you earn $250 for each referral.

What a great day!
