As our company grows, we are taking steps to make the registration process as easy as possible for both you and Montana Corporate. Effective immediately, all new vehicle registration requests must be submitted through our website.

Montana requires information about your vehicle that doesn't necessarily appear on your title. Submitting your vehicle request online ensures we have any info that may be missing.

What Else Should I Know?

Don't forget to mail your ORIGINAL title or MCO, along with any other registration paperwork you may have for your vehicle. Remember, we need ORIGINAL documents to complete registration!
Due to our MVD being in its busy season, standard processing turnaround for registration is currently approximately 8–10 weeks after receipt of ORIGINAL documents in our office. Temporary permits and expedited registration are available if you're in a hurry!
Montana titles are NOT issued at the time of registration. Titles are issued by the state approximately 10–12 weeks after registration is complete. There is currently no way to expedite title issuance, so please keep that in mind if you are planning to sell or transfer your vehicle!
If we receive vehicle documents without a paired online registration request, we will email you a reminder to submit the request. Follow-up emails will be sent, but any documents without an accompanying online request will be returned to the address on file after 90 days and a $10 shipping charge will be invoiced to your account.
