Foreign Title Registration Requirements

1. A translation of the TITLE/CERTIFICATE, literal, word for word, and all original documents.
2. Registration document (Canada/UK).
3. Foreign title (Japan).
4. Entry Summary (Form 7501*) Stamp and signature required.
5. Declaration (Form HS-7*) Signature required.
6. Entry/Immediate Delivery (form 3461*).
7. EPA (Form 3520-1) it has two pages. Signature required.
8. MV-20 - Montana VIN inspection (must include inspector's BUSINESS CARD).
9. Picture of the VIN plate.
10. MV-24 - Notarized Montana bill of sale (if applicable).

It is also necessary for the chain of ownership be fully and properly accounted for. If you are not able to provide a proper chain of ownership with registration or title evidence you will be required to provide the additional following documents:

• Break Bond application Should be notarized and MUST BE ORIGINAL.
• Surety Bond should cover the value of the vehicle plus $1,000 or more.
• Color photos of the vehicle's front, back, each side, and odometer.
• NMVTIS report (link is also contained in the break bond application).
